Camphill Communities Trust (NI) History

In Northern Ireland the Camphill Communities Trust (NI) is a registered charity - composed of interested friends and members of the Communities. It provides support and advice on development, finance, fundraising, public relations and other matters concerning the welfare of all four Camphill Communities.

Each Community has a management Council and each in also supported by a Friends Group which is responsible for fund raising and general support for the Community. Running expenses are met by Government department and agencies.

"The Camphill Movement works to create communities in which vulnerable children and adults - many with learning disabilities - can live, learn and work with others in healthy social relationships based upon mutual care and respect."
